AMMZ lab is a collective of international artists and designers from France, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, United States. The four founding members of the AMMZ lab met each other in Aix-en-Provence, France at a collective residency program. Based on the mutual interest in questioning the social construction of gender and sexuality, they founded AMMZ lab that utilizes mixed media, including choreography, AR, textile, social engagement, to collectively explore themes surrounding gender, sexuality, queer theory, feminism, and identity.
